Dzwoniąc pod numer 997 połączymy się z operatorem nr 112
Od dzisiaj numer alarmowy 997 będzie automatycznie przełączać się na 112. Jak tłumaczy Komenda Wojewódzka Policji w Gdańsku – modyfikacja polega na usprawnieniu procedury zgłoszeniowej, zebraniu kompleksowej informacji oraz przyspieszeniu reakcji Policji na zgłoszenie.
– Oficer otrzyma przefiltrowaną informację, co zaoszczędzi czas samego zgłoszenia, a w konsekwencji przełoży się na szybszą reakcję funkcjonariuszy, mówi Michał Sienkiewicz, rzecznik prasowy Komendy Wojewódzkiej.
W ubiegłym roku wiele zgłoszeń, które trafiały do Policji były zgłoszeniami niepotwierdzonymi lub błędnie skierowanymi. Wprowadzenie numeru 112 pomoże uniknąć takich sytuacji.
