Uwaga na kleszcze, w tym roku jest ich wyjątkowo dużo. Nawet do 40 procent tych pajęczaków może roznosić groźne dla naszego zdrowia patogeny wywołujące boreliozę czy zapalenie mózgu.
Klesze występują nie tylko w lasach, na łąkach i pastwiskach ale bytują też w miejskich parkach, na skwerach i w naszych ogródkach. W ubiegłym roku w województwie pomorskim odnotowano ponad 1 tys. 300 zachorowań na boreliozę, najwięcej w gminie Kościerzyna, Czarna Dąbrówka i Bytów oraz w Trójmieście. W tym roku kleszczy jest więcej, choć nie jesteśmy jeszcze w stanie poprzeć tego konkretnymi danymi – mówi rzecznik prasowy kartuskiego nadleśnictwa Jarosław Pawlikowski – radzi więc sprawdzać czy ze spaceru nie przynieśliśmy do domu pasażera na gapę. Żadnego przypadku ukąszenia przez kleszcza nie należy bagatelizować. W razie jakichkolwiek wątpliwości należy skontaktować się z lekarzem.
