Gdyńskie Centrum Chirurgii Dziecięcej zostanie przeniesione
Gdyńskie Centrum Chirurgii Dziecięcej zostanie przeniesione do szpitala Św. Wicentego a Paulo. Powstanie tam również nowy budynek, w którym znajdzie się Szpitalny Oddział Ratunkowy i bloki operacyjne.
– Od paru lat zastanawialiśmy się nad reorganizacją pracy szpitali gdyńskich – mówi Dariusz Nałęcz, wiceprezes Szpitali Pomorskich.
Izba pediatryczno-chirurgiczna będzie zlokalizowana w miejscu, gdzie obecnie działają Szpitalny Oddział Ratunkowy i oddział urologiczny. Ten drugi zostanie przeniesiony do Szpitala Morskiego. W szpitalu na Placu Kaszubskim powstanie również chirurgiczno-pediatryczna izba przyjęć, która będzie przyjmować dzieci z pominięciem SORu. Oddział urologii zostanie przeniesiony do Szpitala im. PCK w maju bieżącego roku. W 2020 roku zostanie wybudowany w Szpitalu im. Wincentego a Paulo budynek, gdzie zostanie przeniesiony SOR oraz powstaną bloki operacyjne. Miejsce zwolnione przez SOR zostanie przystosowane dla oddziału chirurgii dziecięcej.
