Uroczystości w 45. rocznicę „Czarnego czwartku”
Apelem Poległych pod pomnikiem Ofiar Grudnia ’70 rozpoczęły się w Gdyni uroczystości w 45. rocznicę „Czarnego czwartku”. Wziął w nich udział prezydent Andrzej Duda.
17 grudnia był najkrwawszym dniem podczas strajków i demonstracji w 1970-tym roku. Rozpoczęły się one 14 grudnia, bezpośrednim impulsem były podwyżki cen żywności. Fala strajków przetoczyła się przez całe Wybrzeże, ale najbardziej dramatyczny przebieg miała w Gdyni. Komunistyczne władze użyły milicji i wojska, które otworzyły ogień do robotników, zginęło tu 18 osób – według oficjalnych danych. Strzały padły przy przystanku SKM Stocznia, na Placu Kaszubskim i na ówczesnym Wzgórzu Nowotki. Symbolem tamtych wydarzeń był niesiony na drzwiach Zbigniew Godlewski – w słowach ballady Krzysztofa Dowgiałły nazwany Jankiem Wiśniewskim.
Uroczystości w Gdyni rozpoczęły się o 6 rano pod pomnikiem przy przystanku SKM Gdynia Stocznia – apelem poległych z udziałem prezydenta Andrzeja Dudy. W przemówieniu mówił o wstydzie – „Za tę III RP, w której komunistycznych bandytów nazywano ludźmi honoru. Za tę III RP, która z honorami wojskowymi i państwowymi pochowała większość oprawców 1970 roku. Wstyd, zwyczajnie wstyd” – powtórzył prezydent. Dalsza część odbędzie się po południu. O godzinie 16:00 odbędzie się koncert pieśni patriotycznych w wykonaniu młodzieży w kościele Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa przy ulicy Armii Krajowej 46, a po nim uroczysta msza święta. Jej uczestnicy przejdą pod Pomnik Ofiar Grudnia ’70 przy Urzędzie Miasta Gdyni gdzie o 18:30 przemarsz zakończy się apelem poległych, modlitwą i złożeniem kwiatów.
Trójmiejskie obchody 45-tej rocznicy masakry robotników rozpoczęły się wczoraj w Gdańsku. Główne uroczystości odbyły się w Europejskim Centrum Solidarności z udziałem Lecha Wałęsy. (Foto: Na planie „Czarnego czwartku – milicjanci na przeciwko robotników – fot: Dorota Nelke-www.gdynia.pl)
