Ujęli nietrzeźwego kierowcę: podziękował im komendant
W Bytowie Komendant Policji podziękował dwóm nastolatkom za wzorową postawę. Pod koniec lipca 17 i 18-latek ujęli nietrzeźwego kierowcę i powiadomili mundurowych. Kierujący mazdą jechał całą szerokością drogi niejednokrotnie zmuszając jadących z naprzeciwka do zjeżdżania na pobocze.
Kierującym okazał się 36-letni obcokrajowiec, w organizmie miał 2 i pół promila alkoholu. Policjantom wyjaśnił, że gdy skończył mu się alkohol pojechał go dokupić do sklepu. Stracił prawo jazdy i grozi mu do 2 lat więzienia. Mężczyznę ujęto dzięki dwóm świadkom, którzy zgłosili zagrożenie na drodze, pojechali za nietrzeźwym kierowcą i wskazali na którą posesję wjechał. Z rąk bytowskiego komendanta nastolatkowie odebrali podziękowania i drobne podarunki. W gminie Bytów trwa akurat 12 edycja akcji „Stop pijanym kierowcom”. Prowadzona w sierpniu i wrześniu razem z gminnym samorządem i parafiami ma uświadamiać jakim zagrożeniem na drodze jest kierujący pod wpływem alkoholu.
