Bytów z dotacjami na rozwój transportu i ochronę przyrody
Gmina pozyskała prawie 20 mln zł na dwa projekty, podpisano już umowy na dofinansowanie udzielone przez samorząd województwa pomorskiego.
Pierwsza opiewa na 16 mln 200 tys zł. To wsparcie budowy węzła transportu zbiorowego w Bytowie, który ma kosztować blisko 24 mln zł i powstać do czerwca 2021 roku. Przebudowany zostanie dworzec kolejowy, powstanie 230 miejsc parkingowych oraz ponad 90 stojaków na rowery. Zbudowana zostanie ścieżka rowerowa, przebudowana ulica Dworzec i zakupione 3 autobusy dla komunikacji miejskiej w Bytowie. Tamtejszy węzeł będzie jednym z 34 wybudowanych lub powstających ze środków bieżącego Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego. Mają poprawić komfort podróżowania transportem publicznym.
Drugi projekt, na który gmina Bytów pozyskała wsparcie, dotyczy ochrony przyrody – w tym unikatowych w skali Europy jezior lobeliowych. Do końca przyszłego roku cenne siedliska zostaną oznakowane, obszar chroniony zostanie skomunikowany z Bytowem i miejscowością Mała Wieś. Powstanie ponad 11 km szlaków turystycznych dla pieszych i rowerzystów. Potrzeba na to 4 i pół mln zł. Unijne dofinansowanie pokryje większość kosztu, bo wyniesie 3 mln 400 tys zł.
