Turyści chcą coraz częściej wypoczywać aktywnie
Wraz ze słońcem na ponad 30 spławnych rzekach Pomorza pojawiły się tłumy kajakarzy. 15 nowych szlaków z przystaniami i stanicami będą mieli do dyspozycji za 5 lat.
– Nowa infrastruktura pomoże wydłużyć sezon i przyciągnąć turystów nawet w deszczowe dni – ocenia organizator spływów z Kornego Seweryn Jereczek.
Nasze województwo przygotowuje się do realizacji jednego z największych unijnych projektów pod nazwą „Kajakiem przez Pomorze”. Inwestycja, szacowana na około 50 mln złotych, ma być realizowana ze środków unijnych do 2020 roku. Oznakowane szlaki mają prowadzić ponad dwudziestoma rzekami, łącznie licząc około tysiąca 500 km. Projektowane są przystanie i pomosty, przenoski, pola biwakowe, sanitariaty i suszarnie dla kajaków. Budowa pierwszych przystani na szlakach kajakowych na Pomorzu ma rozpocząć się w 2017 roku. Projekt realizowany jest przez Urząd Marszałkowski w Gdańsku i pomorskie gminy.
