Sztuczne lodowisko otwarte w Sierakowicach
Hitem tegorocznej zimy są sztuczne lodowiska. Kolejne otwarto niedawno w Sierakowicach.
To jedyny tego typu obiekt w powiecie kartuskim. Biały Orlik uruchomiony został przy szkole podstawowej. Codziennie korzysta z niego kilkadziesiąt osób. Jedyna wada jest to, że trzeba posiadać swoje łyżwy. Przy lodowisku nie ma wypożyczalni, jest natomiast zaplecze socjalne z przebieralnią. Lodowisko może działać nawet w dodatnich temperaturach.
– Jednorazowo ze ślizgawki korzystać może około 40 osób – mówi Marian Wnuk – Lipiński, koordynator zajeć na Orliku.
Gmina Sierakowice jest jedyną w powiecie kartuskim gminą, która uzyskała środki na utworzenie Białego Orlika. Obiekt kosztował 460 tys. zł, jego budowę wsparło Ministerstwo Sportu i Turystyki. Lodowisko czynne jest od poniedziałku do piątku od 16.00 do 20.00. W soboty przez cały dzień, a w niedziele od 13.00 do 20.00.
