Do końca roku w Sierakowicach powstanie węzeł integracyjny
Inwestycja obejmuje budowę ścieżek rowerowych oraz przebudowę i remont dworca PKP – mimo że pociągi do tej miejscowości jeszcze nie kursują.
– Z niecierpliwością czekamy na połączenie kolejowe, które znacznie ułatwi nam dojazd do Trójmiasta – mówi zastępca wójta gminy Sierakowice, Zbigniew Fularczyk.
Do Sierakowic w przyszłości dojeżdżać będą pociągi PKM. Obecnie trwają prace koncepcyjne nad rewitalizacją linii, dlatego samorząd nie zamierza stać w miejscu. Już w zeszłym roku rozpoczęły się pracy przy budowie 11 km ścieżek rowerowych, które stanowić będą trasy dojazdowe. W tym roku nowe oblicze zyska budynek dworca. W ramach inwestycji planowana jest budowa obiektu do obsługi systemu roweru metropolitalnego, przystanek autobusowy z miejscem dla 2 autobusów oraz budowa parkingu Park & Ride dla samochodów osobowych. Całość ma kosztować 8,7 mln zł.
