Syreny alarmowe zawyją dziś na całym Pomorzu – nie będą jednak ostrzegać przed nalotem, zostaną uruchomione w ramach wojskowych ćwiczeń.
Syreny mają być testowane między godziną 06:00 rano a 19:00. W ramach ćwiczeń uruchomiony zostanie trzyminutowy modulowany dźwięk syreny. Odwołanie alarmu nastąpi poprzez dźwięk ciągły – również trzyminutowy. Włączenie syren alarmowych jest jednym z elementów ćwiczenia organizowanego przez Dowództwo Operacyjne Rodzajów Sił Zbrojnych. Syreny są elementem technicznym systemu ostrzegania i alarmowania ludności, który powinien być sprawdzany minimum raz w roku.
