Strażacy ostrzegają przed wchodzeniem na lód. Teraz, gdy przyszła odwilż, niebezpiecznie zrobiło się na jeziorach przepływowych. Tafla miejscami może być bardzo cienka.
– Przed wejściem na lód warto zastanowić się dwa razy – mówi komendant powiatowy PSP w Kartuzach Edmund Kwidziński.
Do niebezpiecznej sytuacji doszło w sobotnie popołudnie na jeziorze Klasztornym Małym w Kartuzach. Pod wędkarzem załamał się lód – 30 metrów od brzegu. Przeżył dzięki szybkiej interwencji strażaków – gdy go wyciągnęli z wody był już na skraju hipotermii. Jeśli zauważymy, że pod kimś lód się załamał, należy natychmiast powiadomić służby ratunkowe. Podczas oczekiwania na przybycie pomocy spróbować dostarczyć tonącemu przedmiot, który pomoże mu się utrzymać na powierzchni.
