Starają się o organizację Światowego Zjazdu Kaszubów
Wdzydze, Rumia i Jastarnia to kolejne miejscowości, które starają się o organizację dorocznego Światowego Zjazdu Kaszubów. Impreza od 17 lat organizowana jest przez Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko – Pomorskie we współpracy z kaszubskimi samorządami.
– Teraz na liście propozycji pojawią się również wsie – mówi nam prezes Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego Łukasz Grzędzicki.
Zjazdy mają jednoczyć i integrować Kaszubów a także być okazją do prezentacji naszej kultury i dobrej zabawy. Od 1999 roku impreza odbywała się co roku w kolejnych miastach Pomorza. Jest propozycja, aby w 2016 roku zjazd odbył się w skansenie we Wdzydzach z okazji 110 rocznicy jego istnienia. Dotychczas tradycją Zjazdów był specjalny pociąg Transcassubia, który przywoził uczestników na miejsce spotkania. Jak dodaje Łukasz Grzędzicki na liście przyszłych organizatorów Zjazdu są już kolejne gminy.
Ostateczna decyzja w sprawie przyszłorocznego Zjazdu ma zostać podjęta w Zrzeszeniu Kaszubsko – Pomorskim na początku października.
