Sprzęt do wspomagania oddychania noworodków – od WOŚP
Do szpitali w Kartuzach, Bytowie i Lęborku trafią nowoczesne pompy służące do nieinwazyjnego wspomagania oddychania noworodków. Przekaże je Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy.
– Przede wszystkim jednak wyeliminowanie metod inwazyjnych to dla maleńkiego pacjenta brak ryzyka schorzeń i powikłań – mówi ordynator oddziału neonantologii kartuskiego szpitala Ewa Chwiałkowska.
Według specjalistów są to aparaty najlepsze – nieinwazyjne, wręcz delikatne dla dzieciaków. Pomogą one leczyć niewydolność oddechową w taki sposób, że podczas podawania tlenu maluch może się przytulić do mamy. Fundacja WOŚP zakupiła 30 takich urządzeń za kwotę ponad 1 mln 300 tys. zł. W województwie pomorskim, oprócz Kartuz, Bytowa i Lęborka, trafią one jeszcze do Tczewa i Starogardu Gdańskiego.
