Spółka Innobaltica zachęca do składania propozycji nazwy dla biletu metropolitalnego. Bilet będzie działać w ramach systemu umożliwiającego przejazd różnymi środkami komunikacji za jedną płatnością.
– System biletu metropolitalnego będzie innowacją na miarę XXI wieku – zapowiada prezes Innobaltica Krzysztof Rudziński.
Czas na składanie propozycji mija 16 stycznia. Do tej pory wpłynęło ponad 2000 różnych pomysłów. Potem do 22 stycznia komisja złożona z przedstawicieli miast partnerskich oraz naukowców wybierze do sześciu kandydatów, spośród których internauci wybiorą najlepszą ich zdaniem opcję. Tradycyjny, papierowy bilet będzie jeszcze funkcjonował, podstawą będzie jednak system elektroniczny.
