Sint Sua Praemia Laudi dla ks. Jana Kaczkowskiego
Sint Sua Praemia Laudi – Niech chwała ma swoją nagrodę. To prestiżowe wyróżnienie wojewoda pomorski wręczył dzisiaj księdzu Janowi Kaczkowskiemu z Pucka. Nagrody w czterech kategoriach: sprawy społeczne, gospodarka, sport i kultura przyznawane są za promowanie i rozsławianie województwa pomorskiego swoimi osiągnięciami.
Ksiądz Kaczkowski jest znanym społecznikiem, współzałożycielem Puckiego Hospicjum, wolontariuszem i autorem warsztatów etyki medycznej dla studentów medycyny i prawa.
– Nie miałem żadnych wątpliwości, kto powinien dostać nagrodę w kategorii społecznej – mówi wojewoda pomorski, Ryszard Stachurski.
To jedno z wielu wyróżnień kapłana, który uhonorowany został m. in. Krzyżem Kawalerskim Orderu Odrodzenia Polski i medalem „Curate Infirmos” Papieskiej Rady ds. Duszpasterstwa Służby Zdrowia. Dzisiejsza nagroda ma dla kapłana jednak specjalne znaczenie, bo jak mówi – najważniejsze podziękowania są od ludzi, bo to dla nich pracujemy. W kategorii gospodarka nagrody otrzymały Port Gdańsk i Port Gdynia, a w kategorii sport Anita Włodarczyk i jej trener Krzysztof Kaliszewski. W kategorii kultura wojewoda uhonorował regionalnego fotoreportera i fotografa, Macieja Kosycarza.
