Sinice kwitną w Bałtyku, a plażowicze… na plaży
W Zatoce Gdańskiej kwitną sinice – część kąpielisk na Półwyspie Helskim i w Trójmieście jest zamknięta. Inspektorzy Sanepidu zalecają też ostrożność wypoczywającym na jeziorami.
Sinice to bakterie groźne dla naszego zdrowia – wydzielają toksyny mogące prowadzić do zatrucia pokarmowego, porażenia mięśni a nawet niewydolności oddechowej. Mamy teraz pogodę idealną do ich zakwitu – woda jest coraz cieplejsza, nie ma też wiatru. – Problem niestety trzeba przeczekać – mówi Powiatowy Inspektor Sanitarny w Kartuzach Krystyna Wereszczyńska – i przestrzega przed kąpielą w zanieczyszczonej sinicami wodzie.
W cierpliwość muszą się uzbroić plażowicze na Półwyspie Helskim i w Trójmieście. Ze względu na zakwit sinic czerwone flagi powiewają na kąpieliskach od Kuźnicy do Juraty oraz od Gdyni Babie Doły do Gdańsk Stogi.
