Rozruch testowy Systemu Roweru Metropolitalnego MEVO zakończył się brakiem odbioru przez zamawiającego. Testy prowadzone przez pracowników Obszaru Metropolitalnego Gdańsk – Gdynia – Sopot oraz urzędników partnerskich Gmin nie potwierdziły gotowości do uruchomienia Systemu.
– Odnotowaliśmy problem w kilku elementach systemu, mówi Dominik Makurat, specjalista ds promocji Roweru Metropolitalnego.
Kolejny rozruch testowy będzie możliwy po ponownym zgłoszeniu przez Wykonawcę, spółkę NB Tricity, gotowości do uruchomienia I etapu, dodaje Dominik Makurat. MEVO to największy w Europie system publicznych rowerów ze wspomaganiem elektrycznym. Projekt wart jest ponad 40 milionów złotych, z czego 17 mln zł stanowi dofinansowanie pochodzące ze środków unijnych.
