Rewitalizacja linii kolejowej Kartuzy – Sierakowice – Lębork
Powiedzieli TAK rewitalizacji linii kolejowej Kartuzy – Sierakowice – Lębork. Samorządowcy podpisali list intencyjny w tej sprawie. Podpisy pod dokumentem złożyli wczoraj w Sierakowicach przedstawiciele trzech powiatów – kartuskiego, lęborskiego i wejherowskiego oraz marszałek województwa pomorskiego, a także przedstawiciele gmin: Linia, Chmielno, Sierakowice, miasta Lęborka, PKP PLK i spółki Lotos Kolej. Obecnie linia z Kartuz do Lęborka jest nieczynna i potrzebuje gruntownego remontu. Według wstępnych planów odcinek ma być zelektryfikowany, a składy będą pokonywać trasę z prędkością stu km/h. To oznacza, że pociąg dotrze z Sierakowic do Gdańska Wrzeszcza w godzinę i 15 minut – co oznacza ogromne ułatwienie dla podróżujących z środkowych Kaszub do Trójmiasta – wyjaśniał zastępca wójta Sierakowic Zbigniew Fularczyk. Podpisanie listu intencyjnego to dopiero początek drogi. Teraz samorządy muszą podjąć uchwały i podpisać porozumienie, które będzie podstawą do opracowania stadium wykonalności czyli odpowiedzi na pytanie czy jest zapotrzebowanie na rewitalizację linii kolejowej z Kartu do Lęborka. Przygotowanie tego dokumentu zajmie około roku.
