W Sierakowicach zostaną gruntownie przebudowane trzy osiedlowe ulice, dotychczas zalewane podczas gwałtownych deszczy.
Gmina pozyskała na ten cel dofinansowanie z tzw. schetynówek. Projekt modernizacji ulic Jeziornej, Wita Stwosza i ks. Peplińskiego został najwyżej oceniony wśród gminnych propozycji do dofinansowania i znalazł się na pierwszym miejscu w województwie. Gruntowna przebudowa zostanie zwieńczona asfaltową nawierzchnią, powstaną też chodniki i ścieżki rowerowe – wyjaśniał wójt gminy Sierakowice Tadeusz Kobiela. Wartość inwestycji oszacowano na 3,5 mln złotych. Z tzw. schetynówek samorząd pozyskał połowę tej kwoty.
