PÓŁNOCNE KASZUBY: Nowy rok szkolny w nowych murach
Nowy rok szkolny w nowych murach rozpoczną uczniowie w trzech miejscowościach na północny Kaszub. W lepszych warunkach w nowej siedzibie będą się uczyć dzieci z Bolszewa w gminie Wejherowo, Wierzchucina w gminie Krokowa i Leśniewa w gminie Puck.
Filia szkoły podstawowej w Bolszewie to największa w tym roku w gminie Wejherowo inwestycja w oświacie. Gmina wydała prawie dwa i pół miliona złotych na wyposażenie i zaadaptowanie budynku, który pierwotnie miał być Ośrodkiem Zdrowia, a potem nową siedzibą Urzędu Gminy. Teraz jest tam sześć sal lekcyjnych, świetlico-stołówka, sala do gimnastyki korekcyjnej czy gabinet logopedy, w obiekcie zamontowano też monitoring. Bolszewo dynamicznie się rozwija, uznaliśmy że w pierwszym rzędzie trzeba poprawić warunki w jakim uczą się dzieci – mówi zastępca wójta gminy Wejherowo Maciej Milewski.
Do nowej szkoły w Bolszewie będzie uczęszczać 270 dzieci z klas 1 – 3. W nowych murach rok szkolny rozpoczną też uczniowie w Wierzchucinie. Na wybudowanie nowej podstawówki samorząd wydał 11 mln zł. W obiekcie jest dodatkowe piętro do którego za dwa – trzy lata będzie się mogło przeprowadzić gimnazjum – mówi wójt gminy Krokowa Henryk Doering.
Podstawówka w Wierzchucinie ma być uroczyście otwarta jutro z udziałem delegacji z Litwy – gmina Krokowa przymierza się do podpisania umowy partnerskiej z Nową Wilejką. W poniedziałek wojewódzka inauguracja roku szkolnego i uroczyste otwarcie nowej szkoły w Leśniewie w gminie Puck. Za 17 mln złotych powstał tam dwupiętrowy obiekt z salą gimnastyczną.
