Poświęcili nagrobek Jana Karnowskiego w Brusach
Za pomoc finansową w usuwaniu wszelkich szkód po sierpniowej nawałnicy podziękowały wczoraj mieszkańcom Pomorza władze Brus i Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego. Symboliczną okazją do tego było poświęcenie odnowionego po wichurze nagrobka kaszubskiego pisarza Jana Karnowskiego na bruskim cmentarzu.
– To symboliczne wydarzenie w naszej historii – mówił podczas poświęcenie Stanisław Kobus, prezes bruskiego oddziału Zrzeszenia.
Odbudowa zniszczonego przez żywioł pomnika kosztowała 25 tysięcy złotych. Środki na ten cel pochodziły ze zbiórki datków na specjalnym koncie ZKP. W gminie Brusy nawałnica zniszczyła prawie tysiąc budynków mieszkalnych i gospodarczych, a także setki hektarów lasów. Dziękujemy za dotychczasową pomoc i wciąż prosimy o jeszcze – mówił wczoraj burmistrz gminy Witold Ossowski. Środki finansowe na pomoc w usuwaniu skutków nawałnicy można wpłacać na konta utworzone przez bruski samorząd oraz na konto Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego.
