Ponad 9 mln turystów odwiedziło w tym roku województwo pomorskie. Z danych Lokalnych Organizacji Turystycznych wynika, że 80 procent z nich to turyści z Polski, a pozostałe 20 procent to turyści zagraniczni, głównie z Wielkiej Brytanii, Norwegii, Szwecji i Rosji.
– Efekty przynoszą też kompleksowe działania promocyjne – twierdzi szefowa Pomorskiej Regionalnej Organizacji Turystycznej Marta Chełkowska.
Letników na Pomorze przyciągnęła w tym roku przede wszystkim upalna pogoda. Nasz region, już nie tylko w Polsce, ale również za granicą kojarzone jest z kulturą i kuchnią kaszubską – dodaje Marta Chełkowska. Wśród polskich turystów na Pomorzu najczęściej wypoczywali mieszkańcy Mazowsza, Małopolski oraz województw łódzkiego i kujawsko-pomorskiego.
