Pomorskie liderem wdrażania środków unijnych
Do połowy lipca zarząd województwa podpisał 108 umów w ramach Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego na lata 2014-2020.
Łączna wartość dofinansowanych projektów to 1 mld 690 mln złotych, z czego unijne wsparcie wyniosło 1 mld 190 mln. To najlepszy wynik w kraju i pokłosie decyzji powziętych kilka lat temu. Do obecnego budżetu Unii Europejskiej samorząd województwa przygotowywał się od 2011 roku m.in. poprzez tworzenie dokumentacji projektowej dla modernizacji linii kolejowych i dróg wojewódzkich na Pomorzu. Jak podaje Pomorski Urząd Marszałkowski dobre wykorzystanie unijnych funduszy to także zasługa świetnego przygotowania samorządów, przedsiębiorców i innych beneficjentów korzystających z unijnych pieniędzy.
Środki z nowego rozdania wykorzystano już m .in. na program „Pomorskie e-zdrowie”, w którym partnerami Województwa Pomorskiego jest 16 podmiotów leczniczych. To także m.in. budowa obwodnicy Kartuz, utworzenie książnicy imienia profesora Gerarda Labudy w Wejherowie oraz ogromne środki na termomodernizacje czy aktywizację bezrobotnych.
