Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna zaprasza na Dzień Otwarty
Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna technicznie gotowa – inaugurację wrześniowego rozkładu jazdy poprzedzi 30 sierpnia Dzień Otwarty.
– Od października mają jeździć również do Kartuz, a później także do Kościerzyny – zapewnia wicemarszałek województwa pomorskiego Ryszard Świlski.
Nowa linia kolejowa połączyła Gdańsk Wrzeszcz z lotniskiem w Rębiechowie, odbywają się na niej ostatnie przejazdy techniczne. Między Wrzeszczem a portem lotniczym składy mają kursować średnio co 15 minut, rano i wieczorem pojadą też z Rębiechowa do Gdyni. Pod względem technicznym linia jest już gotowa. Pasażerowie mogą się czuć bezpiecznie – zapewniono na prezentacji miejsca gdzie zbiegają się sygnały z monitorowanych systemów. Pierwsze składy Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej wyjadą w trasę 1 września. Inaugurację 30 sierpnia poprzedzi Dzień Otwarty PKM, na którym odbędą się m. in. promocyjne przejazdy dla mieszkańców.
