„Pomaganie jest piękne” – wolontariat opiekuńczy
Co łączy Jerzego Snakowskiego, Iwonę Guzowską i zawodników futbolu amerykańskiego „Seahawks”? Wszyscy wspierają ideę wolontariatu opiekuńczego!
Od 9 do 16 kwietnia będzie można spotkać ich oraz inne znane osoby podczas drzwi otwartych w piętnastu placówkach ochrony zdrowia i pomocy społecznej w województwie pomorskim, które wspólnie organizują kampanię „Pomaganie jest piękne”. Przez ponad tydzień w ramach akcji w ośrodkach tych będą się odbywać spotkania, minikoncerty, prezentacje, wspólne warsztaty terapeutyczne, a nawet grillowanie. Jej celem jest rozpowszechnianie idei wolontariatu opiekuńczego na rzecz osób starszych i chorych.
To niezwykła okazja, żeby zobaczyć, jak wygląda hospicjum, dom pomocy społecznej czy zakład opiekuńczo-leczniczy„od środka”, wziąć udział w organizowanych w nich zajęciach i przekonać się, jak w praktyce realizowane jest hasło kampanii „Pomaganie jest piękne”. W każdym z tych miejsc wiele się dzieje i są różne możliwości podzielenia się swoimi umiejętnościami, nauczenia nowych, a także poznania ciekawych osób.
