Policyjna akcja „Pasy” w powiecie puckim
Dzisiaj od rana policjanci powiatu Puckiego przeprowadzają akcję „PASY”. Podczas tych działań funkcjonariusze zwracają szczególną uwagę na to, czy kierujący oraz pasażerowie samochodów przestrzegają obowiązku jazdy w pasach bezpieczeństwa, a także czy dzieci podróżujące w pojazdach są prawidłowo przewożone.
Akcja prowadzona będzie do późnych godzin wieczornych na terenie całego województwa w tym również na drogach powiatu Puckiego. Podczas działań funkcjonariusze oprócz ujawniania nieprawidłowości w zakresie używania pasów bezpieczeństwa czy właściwego przewożenia dzieci będą również kontrolować stan trzeźwości kierujących a także to, czy kierowcy przestrzegają ograniczeń prędkości. Stosowanie pasów przez kierującego i pasażerów znacznie zwiększa szanse przeżycia podczas wypadku drogowego. Zderzenie samochodu jadącego z prędkością 80 km/godz. ze stałą przeszkodą np. drzewem, słupem czy stojącą ciężarówką, jest niemal zawsze śmiertelne dla osób znajdujących się w samochodzie. Całkowicie bez szans jest osoba, która nie zapięła pasów bezpieczeństwa.
Policjanci przypominają, że zapięte pasy bezpieczeństwa w samochodzie, używanie fotelików do przewożenia dzieci, zmniejszają skutki obrażeń jakie odnoszą uczestnicy wypadków. Mogą przyczynić się do uratowania zdrowia i życia wielu osób.
