Podsumowano cykl biegów pod hasłem „Kaszuby Biegają”
W Żukowie podsumowano cykl biegów pod hasłem „Kaszuby Biegają”. Projekt ten, zainicjowany i prowadzony przez Henryka Miotka, ma na celu promowanie zdrowego stylu życia poprzez popularyzację biegów masowych, a przy okazji upowszechnianie wiedzy o Kaszubach.
W 2015 roku, od kwietnia do października, w ramach cyklu Kaszuby Biegają odbyło się 10 biegów o łącznej długości 120 km. W sumie na linii startu 10 tegorocznych biegów stanęło 3880 osób. Najdłuższy, bo 21 km, mierzył III Wdzydzki Półmaraton Stolema, najwięcej osób uczestniczyło natomiast w kwietniowym „Biegu Piaśnickim” i odbywającej się podczas majowego weekendu „Żukowskiej 10” – po 503 uczestników. Akcja Kaszuby Biegają dotarła także do Sierakowic, Szemudu, Przodkowa, Lipusza, Kolbud, Złotej Góry i Przyjaźni. Wszyscy uczestnicy podkreślali życzliwą i przyjazną atmosferę, która towarzyszyła biegom. Organizacja całego cyklu „Kaszuby Biegają” możliwa była tylko dzięki przychylności wielu podmiotów prywatnych oraz służb. (Foto: www.kaszuby.biegaja.pl)
