Podsumowali policyjną akcję „Bezpieczny pieszy”
39 pieszych ukaranych w powiecie wejherowskim, 30 w kartuskim i 30 wystawionych mandatów w powiecie puckim – to wynik przeprowadzonej na początku tygodnia policyjnej akcji „Bezpieczny pieszy”.
To prowadzone cyklicznie działania, podczas których mundurowi zwracają szczególną uwagę na przechodzenie przez jezdnię w miejscach niedozwolonych i na czerwonym świetle oraz nieużywanie elementów odblaskowych. Policjanci przypominają, że noszenie odblasków poza terenem zabudowanym po zmroku jest obowiązkowe. Akcja ma poprawić bezpieczeństwo wszystkich uczestników ruchu drogowego, są podczas niej kontrolowane także pojazdy. W powiecie wejherowskim jej pokłosiem było także zatrzymanie 4 dowodów rejestracyjnych i dwóch praw jazdy. Dodatkowo mundurowi zatrzymali tam dwóch kierowców, którzy kierowali pojazdami pod wpływem alkoholu.
