Podpisano umowę na realizację roweru MEVO
Umowa z wykonawcą Systemu Roweru Metropolitalnego MEVO podpisana. Do 18 listopada spółka NB Tricity uruchomi pierwsze 30 procent rowerów. Wszystkie będą wspomagane elektrycznie.
Do marca ma być dostępna już cała flota. W sumie będzie to ponad 4 tysiące jednośladów do wypożyczenia na minuty. Poza Trójmiastem będą dostępne na terenie 11-u samorządów – Władysławowa, Pucka, Redy, Rumi, Kartuz, Stężycy, Somonina, Sierakowic, Żukowa, Tczewa i Pruszcza Gdańskiego. Mevo będzie największym i najnowocześniejszym tego typu systemem rowerów publicznych w Europie, powstaje w wyniku współpracy metropolitalnej. Ma poprawić dostępność węzłów integracyjnych ułatwiając przesiadkę na inny środek transportu zbiorowego. Ma być też wykorzystywany do celów rekreacyjnych. Wypożyczanie ma się odbywać intuicyjnie – za pomocą smartfona lub karty zbliżeniowej.
W abonamencie miesięczna opłata nie może przekroczyć 10 zł i ma uprawniać do 90 minut jazdy dziennie. System Mevo będzie oparty o rowery 4 generacji wyposażone w moduły GPS i GSM. Wykonawca otrzyma nieco ponad 40 mln zł, z czego ponad 17 mln zł to unijne dofinansowanie. Pierwsza transza – 1 tys 244 rowery – ma być udostępniona w ciągu pięciu miesięcy.
