Oszuści wyłudzają pieniądze w Gdańsku
Gdańscy policjanci ponownie apelują do starszych osób o ostrożność w kontaktach z osobami, które proszą ich o pieniądze. Ostatnio 71-latka z Gdańska straciła oszczędności, bo zaufała oszustom rzekomo prowadzącym policyjną akcję.
Kobieta najpierw odebrała telefon od osoby podającej się za członka rodziny. Gdy nie chciała podać swojego adresu dzwoniąca się rozłączyła. Następnie zadzwonił mężczyzna podający się za policjanta z biura śledczego, oznajmił że prowadzi akcję, że 71-latka jest w niebezpieczeństwie i w związku z tym musi jak najszybciej wypłacić swoje pieniądze z banku. Powiedział też że przełącza kobietę na numer 997 celem zweryfikowania jego tożsamości. Następny rozmówca utwierdził ją w przekonaniu, że przed chwilą rozmawiała z funkcjonariuszem. Kobieta wybrała pieniądze z czterech banków i przekazała mężczyźnie podającemu się za policjanta. Dlatego mundurowi z Gdańska ponownie uczulają, by nie podejmować pochopnych działań po telefonie od osób proszących o pieniądze.
Najlepiej zadzwonić do najbliższych i sprawdzić, czy rzeczywiście potrzebują pomocy. Jeśli rozmówca podaje się za policjanta – oznacza to że mamy do czynienia z oszustem. Prawdziwi policjanci NIGDY nie informują o prowadzonych przez siebie sprawach telefonicznie i nigdy nie proszą też o przekazanie pieniędzy nieznanej osobie. Kolejne połączenia telefoniczne wykonujmy z innego aparatu, np. od sąsiada – zdarza się, że przestępcy przechwytują połączenia telefoniczne.
