Ogromne straty po pożarze fermy kurcząt w Chwaszczynie
Do zdarzenia doszło wczoraj przed godziną 21:00. Zapaliła się część dachu kurnika o powierzchni około 1100 metrów kwadratowych.
Ogień pojawił się też w części dachu budynku mieszkalnego, który był połączony z kurnikiem – poinformował portal tvn24 kpt. Fryderyk Mach z Komendy Powiatowej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Kartuzach. Z ogniem przez kilka godzin walczyło 10 zastępów straży pożarnej. W kurniku znajdowało się 18 tysięcy kurcząt, z których większość spłonęła lub uległa zaczadzeniu. Ze wstępnych ustaleń wynika, że przyczyną pożaru mógł być niesprawny przewód kominowy lub jego niewłaściwa eksploatacja.
Nieszczelność przewodu kominowego była prawdopodobną przyczyną pożaru, do którego doszło wczoraj wieczorem w Chwaszczynie.
W kurniku spaliło się 18 tysięcy trzytygodniowych kurcząt. Z żywiołem przez 4 godziny walczyło 10 zastępów straży pożarnej. Straty oszacowano na około 100 tysięcy złotych, ale wartość uratowanego mienia jest o wiele wyższa mówi komendant powiatowy PSP w Kartuzach Edmund Kwidziński. Niewykluczone, że przyczyną pożaru mogło być też zwarcie instalacji elektrycznej. To w chwili obecnej jest przedmiotem ustaleń strażaków.
