Obszar Metropolitalny Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot aktywny zawodowo
Przebija m.in Londyn, Paryż i Toronto. Według Organizacji Współpracy Gospodarczej i Rozwoju rynek pracy Metropolitalnego Obszaru Gdańsk – Gdynia – Sopot jest jednym z najlepszych na świecie.
– W ubiegłym roku zanotowaliśmy wzrost osób aktywnych zawodowo o ponad 2 procent, co daje nam 5 miejsce na świecie – mówi dyrektor Biura Obszaru Metropolitalnego Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot, Michał Glaser.
To wynik 15 letnich badań prowadzonych od 2000 roku w 35 metropoliach. Dobrą koniunkturę na rynku pracy wspierają m.in. działania pomorskich samorządów i instytucji, jak Metropolitalne Targi Pracy czy programy staży i szkoleń zawodowych. – Wyzwaniem jest znalezienie rąk do pracy, stąd napływ cudzoziemców – wskazuje dyrektor Gdańskiego Urzędu Pracy Roland Budnik. Ocenia wiceprezydent Gdańska Aleksandra Dulkiewicz. Tylko jedna metropolia w Polsce okazała się lepsza od trójmiejskiej w rankingu Organizacji Współpracy Gospodarczej i Rozwoju. To Katowice, które uplasowały się na 3 miejscu.
