Łącznie jest ich 3145. To wynik nocnej akcji liczenia bezdomnych, którą przeprowadzono pod koniec stycznia. Dane opublikował właśnie Pomorski Urząd Wojewódzki.
Z badań wynika, że większość bo aż 85% bezdomnych to mężczyźni, a kobiety stanowią 14% tej grupy. W trakcie liczenia okazało się też, że w naszym województwie jest 89 dzieci, które są bezdomne. Większość z nich jednak znajduje się w specjalnych ośrodkach socjalnych. Łącznie w miejscach tak zwanych niemieszkalnych policzono 853 osoby. Najwięcej osób bezdomnych jest w Gdańsku – 814 , Gdyni – 517 i Słupsku – 231. Wśród miast, gdzie jest najwięcej osób bezdomnych znajdują się Kartuzy, gdzie policzono 109 takich osób.
– Wyniki badań zostaną przekazane naukowcom z Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego – mówi rzecznik wojewody Roman Nowak.
Akcja liczenia osób bezdomnych odbyła się w całym kraju w nocy z 21 na 22 stycznia.
