Nowa funkcja Regionalnego Systemu Ostrzegawczego
Za miesiąc o powodziach, kataklizmach czy gwałtownych wichurach ostrzegać nas będą SMS-y. Wdrożenie nowej funkcji Regionalnego Systemu Ostrzegawczego zapowiedział w Gdańsku minister administracji i cyfryzacji Andrzej Halicki.
– Będzie ostrzegał o zagrożeniach największego kalibru, jak powodzie czy kataklizmy – wyjaśnia rzecznik Wojewody Pomorskiego, Roman Nowak.
Regionalny System Ostrzegawczy to usługa, która od stycznia umożliwia powiadamianie obywateli o lokalnych zagrożeniach, zarówno na stronach internetowych urzędów wojewódzkich, jak i w naziemnej telewizji cyfrowej. Od pierwszego lipca system zyska nową funkcję. By otrzymać sms-em ostrzeżenie w ramach Regionalnego Systemu Ostrzegawczego trzeba będzie na telefon pobrać aplikację. Praca nad uruchomieniem nowej funkcji trwa kilka miesięcy, jedną z głównych przeszkód była doprowadzenie do porozumienia ze wszystkimi operatorami sieci komórkowych działających w kraju.
