Nielegalnie poszerzali plaże na Półwyspie Helskim
Do wejherowskiego sądu trafił akt oskarżenia w sprawie 5 dzierżawców pól kempingowych z Półwyspu Helskiego. Prokuratura oskarża ich o nielegalne powiększanie nadbałtyckich plaż i zniszczenie środowiska przyrodniczego.
Proceder miał trwać od 2004 do 2014 roku. Zdaniem śledczych oskarżeni poszerzali plaże nasypując dodatkowy piasek, by w ten sposób powiększać tereny pól kempingowych. Łącznie miało być to aż 7 hektarów. W ten sposób oskarżeni przyczynili się do znacznych zniszczeń w przyrodzie. Z kempingów zniknęły niektóre gatunki rośli i zwierząt, zasypano też wiele siedlisk przyrodniczych. Oskarżeni czyli 5 dzierżawców pól kempingowych z Chałup nie przyznają się do winy. Akt oskarżenia przygotowała Prokuratura Okręgowa w Gdańsku. Oskarżonym grozi do 5 lat pozbawienia wolności.
