Nie stać nas na przyjęcie uchodźców – deklarują samorządowcy
Na 123 gminy w województwie pomorskim jedynie 10 zadeklarowała, że jest w stanie przyjąć potencjalnych uchodźców. Zdecydowana większość wójtów i burmistrzów w raportach przedstawionych wojewodzie pomorskiemu wskazuje na brak odpowiedniej infrastruktury.
Tych dziesięciu, których wstępna deklaracja zakłada możliwość pomocy uchodźcom, stawia jednak warunek, którym jest jednak otrzymanie stosownego, zgodnego ze standardami europejskimi, wsparcia finansowego w tym zakresie.
Jak komentuje Roman Nowak, rzecznik wojewody pomorskiego, gminy nie wykazały gotowości przyjęcia uchodźców motywując to tym, że nie posiadają odpowiedniej bazy mieszkaniowej, nie dysponują miejscami pracy czy nie są w stanie stworzyć odpowiednich warunków nauki dla dzieci uchodźców.
Wśród chętnych do przyjęcia uchodźców są m. in.: Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia, Gniewino i Kosakowo.
Jak powiedziała Dziennikowi Bałtyckiemu Krystyna Schmidt, sekretarz urzędu gminy w Kosakowie – Rozważana jest możliwość przyjęcia na teren gminy Kosakowo jednej rodziny, małżeństwa z dziećmi. Pani sekretarz zastrzega jednak, że wójt gminy ostateczną decyzję podejmiemy po uzyskaniu informacji o wsparciu z Ministerstwa Pracy i Polityki społecznej. Ministerstwo zapowiada, że listę gmin chcących przyjąć uchodźców na Pomorzu i w Polsce opublikuje w przyszłym tygodniu.
