Nie chcą żwirowni w Chwaszczynie i Tuchomiu
Nie chcemy żwirowni w naszej miejscowości – mówią mieszkańcy Chwaszczyna i Tuchomia. Dzięki ich protestom dojdzie do konsultacji społecznych w tej sprawie.
– Konsultacje społeczne mają dać rzeczywisty obraz opinii publicznej w tej sprawie – komentuje burmistrz Wojciech Kankowski.
Kontrowersyjna żwirownia miałaby powstać na granicy obu wsi – w rejonie ul. Gdyńskiej w Tuchomiu i Leśnej w Chwaszczynie. Rada Gminy Żukowo podjęła stosowną uchwałę w tej sprawie jeszcze w styczniu. Mieszkańcom to nie odpowiada, dlatego założyli komitet „Stop Żwirowni”. Żądają jej wycofania i zbierają podpisy mieszkańców pod petycją. – Tyle na razie możemy zrobić – mówi sołtys Chwaszczyna Jolanta Wiercińska.Na 25 kwietnia zaplanowano zebranie sołeckie, podczas którego uczestnicy dostaną do wypełnienia ankiety w sprawie powstania żwirowni. Głosować będą mogli nie tylko mieszkańcy, ale też właściciele nieruchomości z tego rejonu. Konsultacje społeczne w sprawie żwirowni odbędą się 25 kwietnia w szkole w Chwaszczynie o godzinie 13:00.
