Nabierają tempa przygotowania do uruchomienia MEVO
Nabierają tempa przygotowania do uruchomienia Systemu Roweru Metropolitalnego MEVO. Z dwumiesięcznym opóźnieniem wykonawca zgłosił gotowość. Teraz czas na testy.
Pilotaż planowano na 18 listopada ubiegłego roku. Termin przesunięto najpierw m.in. z powodu trudności przy montażu stacji postojowych. Po trzech tygodniach spółka NB Tricity dalej nie zgłaszała gotowości. Teraz się to zmieniło i Obszar Metropolitalny Gdańsk – Gdynia – Sopot będzie sprawdzał funkcjonalności i zgodność systemu z umową. Sprawdzić trzeba zwłaszcza zasięg baterii, system rezerwacji i wypożyczeń, płatności i rozliczeń oraz nadzoru. Jeśli testy zakończą się pomyślnie MEVO wystartuje 18 stycznia. System Roweru Metropolitalnego ma działać przez cały rok, przy czym zimą dostępne będzie 30 procent floty. Będzie to największy w Europie system w całości składający się z rowerów ze wspomaganiem elektrycznym. Ponad 4 tysiące pojazdów będzie można wypożyczać na ternie 14 gmin, w tym Trójmiasta, Rumi, Redy, Pucka, Władysławowa, Stężycy, Żukowa, Kartuz czy Somonina.
