Na Pomorzu ruszyła kampania „Czad i Ogień. Obudź czujność”
2 osoby zmarły, 25 trafiło do szpitala – to bilans zatruć tlenkiem węgla w rozpoczętym sezonie grzewczym w województwie pomorskim. Kolejnym tragediom ma zapobiec kampania edukacyjna „Czad i Ogień. Obudź czujność”.
– O zatrucie nietrudno gdy przewody wentylacyjne są uszkodzone bądź zatkane – podkreśla komendant powiatowy PSP w Kartuzach Edmund Kwidziński.
Rozpoczęto ją z inicjatywy MSWiA, bo co czwarta osoba sądzi że czad – czyli tlenek węgla – można wykryć po zapachu lub zadymieniu. Kampanię przeprowadzą strażacy, skierowana jest do młodzieży. W Pomorskiem zaplanowano ponad 20 spotkań z uczniami, na których dowiedzą się że czad jest bezwonny i bardzo szybko wchłaniany przed drogi oddechowe. Oprócz sprawnej wentylacji, w walce z czadem pomocny jest czujnik tlenku węgla – takie urządzenia kosztują około stu złotych. Objawy zatrucia mogą być różne. Od bólów głowy, zawrotów, przez utratę świadomości aż po ustanie krążenia.
