Na kolei o 12 procent mniej wypadków w 2015 roku
Polskie Linie Kolejowe podsumowały stan bezpieczeństwa na kolei w 2015 roku.
O 12 procent mniej wypadków na przejazdach kolejowo – drogowych. Mniej kolizji i wykolejeń – jednym słowem zdecydowana poprawa bezpieczeństwa na sieci kolejowej. Andrzej Pawłowski, wiceprezes PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. tłumaczy to działaniami dla poprawy bezpieczeństwa w 3 obszarach.
– Inwestujemy miliardy złotych w modernizację sieci kolejowej i nowoczesne urządzenia. Szkolimy załogę i nieustannie doskonalimy procedury, dostosowując je do zmieniających się wymagań. Wreszcie edukujemy i przypominamy wszystkim użytkownikom dróg i kolei, że bezpieczeństwo to nasza wspólna sprawa – powiedział Andrzej Pawłowski, wiceprezes PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.
Tylko w ubiegłym roku PLK wyremontowały ponad 800 km torów, 600 km sieci trakcyjnej, wymieniły 1250 rozjazdów, 670 przejazdów kolejowo – drogowych i wybudowały 84 wiadukty, którymi zastąpiono zwykłe przejazdy.
