Na Kaszubach uczczą 5 rocznicę katastrofy smoleńskiej
Msze święte, apele i składanie kwiatów – tak mieszkańcy i samorządowcy z Kaszub uczczą 5 rocznicę katastrofy smoleńskiej. 10 kwietnia 2010 roku polski samolot rządowy Tupolew z 96 osobami na pokładzie rozbił się w drodze na obchody rocznicy zbrodni katyńskiej.
Zginęła para prezydencka, dowódcy wszystkich rodzajów sił zbrojnych, szefowie instytucji państwowych, parlamentarzyści i osoby im towarzyszące. Pomorze w tej katastrofie straciło między innymi marszałka Macieja Płażyńskiego, legendarną działaczkę Solidarności Annę Walentynowicz oraz posła i działacza społecznego Arkadiusza Arama Rybickiego.
W Gdańsku ich życie upamiętniono specjalnymi tablicami, przy których dzisiaj rano władze miasta złożą kwiaty, a msza święta w intencji zmarłych odbędzie się o godzinie 19:00 w kościele św. Mikołaja w Gdańsku. Rocznicę w szczególny sposób uczczą też uczniowie z Pozytywnej Szkoły Podstawowej w Gdańsku – Kokoszkach. Ich szkoła otrzyma imię Arkadiusza Arama Rybickiego, a w uroczystości ma wziąć udział między innymi premier Ewa Kopacz.
Lokalne uroczystości i msze zaplanowano w każdym mieście na Kaszubach. W Kościerzynie dzisiaj po mszy świętej o godzinie 9:30, władze samorządowe przy pomniku Chrystusa Króla odsłonią i poświęcą urnę z fragmentem samolotu oraz z ziemią smoleńską z miejsca katastrofy.
