Na kąpieliskach północnych Kaszub nie ma już sinic
Dobra wiadomość dla amatorów morskich kąpieli na Północy Kaszub – mogą bez obaw wybrać się dziś na kąpielisko. Nie ma tam już sinic – w przeciwieństwie do Trójmiasta, gdzie te bakterie kwitną z całą mocą.
Sinice silnie się namnażają przy wysokich temperaturach, woda robi się mętna i brzydko pachnie. Kąpiel w niej grozi podrażnieniami skóry, wymiotami, biegunką, bólami brzucha, mięśni i stawów. Według internetowego Serwisu Kąpieliskowego SANEPiDu sytuacja poprawiła się na Nordzie. Można wchodzić do wody we wszystkich kąpieliskach nad morzem – wyjątkiem jest tylko w Helu „Mała plaża” przy Bulwarze Nadmorskim. Na zielono zaznaczono też Puck i jedno miejsce w Rewie, ale od rewskiego cypla aż do Gdańska Brzeźna jest czerwono z powodu zakwitu sinic. Zakaz obowiązuje też nad Jeziorem Żarnowieckim w Lubkowie przy Domu Pomocy Społecznej.
