Na Festiwal Cassubia Cantat zgłosiło się siedem zespołów
Chcą ożywić współczesną muzykę kaszubską i sięgnąć do źródeł. Siedem zespołów zgłosiło się do tegorocznej, siódmej edycji Festiwalu Cassubia Cantat. Ich aranżacje do tradycyjnych pieśni kaszubskich usłyszymy w najbliższą sobotę w Bytowie.
– Każdy z zespołów przygotuje po 3 propozycje, które usłyszymy m.in. w wersji folklorystycznej czy rockowej – zapowiada organizator Festiwalu, Jaromir Szroeder z Muzeum Zachodnio – Kaszubskiego w Bytowie.
Uczestnicy przeglądu muszą sięgnąć do nagrań terenowych, dokonanych na Kaszubach podczas powojennej Akcji Zbierania Folkloru. Zebrane wtedy utwory opublikowane zostały kilka lat temu na płycie Cassubia Incognita. Przesłuchania konkursowe odbędą się w Bytowskim Centrum Kultury w sobotę od godziny 11:00. Zwycięski zespół otrzyma nagrodę finansową w kwocie 2,5 tysiąca złotych.
