Morze odsłoniło resztki lasu w Słowińskim Parku Narodowym
W Słowińskim Parku Narodowym morze odsłoniło resztki dębowego lasu, który porastała ten teren kilka tysięcy lat temu.
Słowiński Park Narodowy to miejsce wyjątkowe na Pomorzu. Tu morze łączy się z lądem.Tysiące lat temu rosła tam gęsta puszcza dębowa-bukowa, którą prawdopodobnie zniszczył pożar albo ludzkie osadnictwo. Pozostałości tej puszczy pochłonęło morze i piasek, a sól zakonserwowała pnie i korzenie drzew. Raz na jakiś czas woda odsłania potężne pnie dębów. – Morze oddziałuje na dany obszar cały czas, pnie zostały odsłonięte już kilkadziesiąt lat temu, czasem są widoczne lepiej, czasem gorzej, – tłumaczy Marek Sobocki, zastępca dyrektora Słowińskiego Parku Narodowego, w rozmowie z trójmiejską „Gazetą Wyborczą”. I dodaje, że relikty puszczy można znaleźć pomiędzy jeziorami Dołgie Duże, a Dołgie Małe. Są one dostępne dla każdego spacerowicza, a martwe drzewa będzie można oglądać najprawdopodobniej do najbliższego silnego sztormu.
