Młodzież połączy siły podczas Dnia Dawcy Szpiku
Młodzież z pomorskich szkół połączy swoje siły podczas Dnia Dawcy Szpiku. W ogólnopolskiej akcji wezmą udział licealiści z Gdyni i Pucka.
– Wybór musi być świadomy, zależy od niego ludzkie życie – przestrzega Anna Kotłowska, organizatorka akcji z ramienia gdyńskiego liceum.
Akcję organizuje fundacja DKMS Wspólnie przeciw Białaczce, a jej celem jest rejestracja jak największej ilości potencjalnych dawców szpiku kostnego. Fundacja przeprowadziła już niemal 3000 takich dni w całym kraju. W kwietniu do współpracy włączą się I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Stefana Żeromskiego w Pucku oraz VI Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Władysława Sierpińskiego w Gdyni. Świadomość potrzeby pomocy jest duża, dlatego młodzi wolontariusze chętnie włączają się do działania.
Dawcą szpiku może zostać każda zdrowa osoba między 18, a 55 rokiem życia, o wadze minimum 50 kilogramów. Rejestracja jest bezbolesna, wymaz z policzka zajmuje kilka minut.
Akcja w gdyńskim VI Liceum odbędzie się 8 kwietnia w godzinach od 11:00 do 19:00. W Pucku I Liceum Ogólnokształcące przyjmie chętnych do rejestracji między 9:00, a 16:00.
