Mikołaj pracowicie spędzi swoje imieniny na Kaszubach – m.in. w Gdyni, gdzie pomagają mu w tym liczne instytucje. Główny punkt uroczystości: z gorącą czekoladą, świąteczną iluminacją i upominkami odbędzie się na placu Grunwaldzkim.
Mikołaj spotka się z najmłodszymi o 17:30 – zapowiada Beata Szadziul, pełnomocnik prezydenta Gdyni do spraw rodziny. Niektóre gdyńskie iluminacje już zapłonęły, m.in. charakterystyczne żaglówki. Koszt nowych dekoracji to 173 tys zł. W świąteczną atmosferę w Gdyni można się też wprowadzić wybierając się do biblioteki, teatru czy kina albo… zgłębiając tajemnice rafy koralowej.
Wcześniej niż w Gdyni mikołajkowe zabawy zaczną się m.in. w Chmielnie, Wejherowie czy Władysławowie – bo o 16:00. Godzinę później świętować zaczną np. w Rumi i Redzie.
