Mieszkańcy Gdyni będą mieli lepszy dostęp do PKM
Mieszkańcy Gdyni już w przyszłym roku będą mieli lepszy dostęp do Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej. W Karwinach i przy stadionie rozpoczyna się właśnie budowa nowych przystanków PKM. Ich koszt wyniesie 25 mln złotych.
– Od samego początku Gdynia była dla nas ważnym elementem projektu PKM – mówi marszałek województwa Mieczysław Struk.
Przystanki powstaną przy linii kolejowej relacji Gdynia – Kościerzyna. Najkorzystniejszą ofertę w przetargu złożyła firma Budimex, która zbudowała także 18-kilometrową linię PKM z Wrzeszcza do Osowy. W ramach budowy przystanków PKM Gdynia Karwiny i Gdynia Stadion na każdym z nich powstaną dwa jednokrawędziowe perony. Projekt zakłada także budowę wind i schodów. Na każdym z przystanków znajdzie się także charakterystyczne dla Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej zadaszenie wejść na przystanki – tzw. „czerwona wstążka”.
