List otwarty pomorskich samorządowców do prezydenta RP
Społeczeństwo Pomorza od wielu lat i na wiele sposobów przywraca pamięć Żołnierzy Niezłomnych związanych z naszym regionem, wśród nich „Inki” i „Zagończyka” – napisali pomorscy samorządowcy w liście otwartym do prezydenta Andrzeja Dudy.
Odnieśli się w nim do przemówienia prezydenta, wygłoszonego w Gdańsku podczas pogrzebu „Inki” i „Zagończyka”. Ich zdaniem Andrzej Duda przemawiał w duchu politycznej konfrontacji. „Postawienie historycznej cezury dzisiaj, w roku 2016, oznacza deprecjację wszystkiego co zdarzyło się wcześniej” czytamy w liście, pod którym obok marszałka województwa pomorskiego podpisali się m.in. prezydenci: Gdańska, Sopotu, Słupska, burmistrzowie Kartuz i Lęborka. Samorządowcy napisali do prezydenta, że „Przenoszenie na dzisiejszy grunt kategorii „Bohaterów” i „zdrajców”, rodem z lat ’40 jest niegodne tej patriotycznej manifestacji zadośćuczynienia, jaką był pogrzeb Niezłomnych i miejsca, w którym zostały wypowiedziane”. Zdaniem sygnatariuszy pisma to również słowa siejące gorycz i zwątpienie w sercach wielu Pomorzan, którym pamięć „Inki” jest bliska od wielu lat”.
W liście przypomniano m.in. o „materialnych” dowodach pamięci na Pomorzu, w tym o ośmiu pomnikach „Inki” i Niezłomnych oraz o szkołach, którym „Inka” patronuje – m.in. w Sopocie, Podjazdach czy Kartuzach.
