Leśnicy wprowadzają zakazy wstępu do lasów spustoszonych przez wichurę
Straty po piątkowych nawałnicach szacują leśnicy – i ostrzegają że spacery po lesie spustoszonym przez wichurę może być niebezpieczne. Lasy Państwowe wstępnie oszacowały, że na terenie całego kraju nawałnica kompletnie zniszczyła 26 tysięcy hektarów lasu.
– W powiecie kościerskim obowiązuje zakaz wstępu do lasu, podobny ma być wprowadzony w kartuskim, w okolicy Ostrzyc i Gowidlina – mówi rzecznik prasowy kartuskiego nadleśnictwa Jarosław Pawlikowski.
Na ternie regionalnej dyrekcji w Gdańsku huragan zmienił w pustynię 6 tys. hektarów, najbardziej ucierpiały lasy w nadleśnictwach Kościerzyna, Lipusz i Cewice. W regionalnych dyrekcjach Lasów Państwowych dotkniętych klęską powołano sztaby kryzysowe. Wstępne szacunki strat w drewnie są ogromne – wyliczono je na około 6 mln 600 tys. m3.
