Leśnicy apelują o szczególną ostrożność w lesie
Jest bardzo sucho i obowiązuje trzeci najwyższy stopień zagrożenia pożarowego. Niestety zaprószenie ognia mogło być przyczyną poważnego pożaru, do którego doszło kilka dni temu w okolicach Antoniewa w gminie Brusy. Spłonęło tam 4,5 ha lasu.
– W takiej sytuacji wystarczy niedopałek papierosa, by wzniecić trudny do opanowania ogień – mówi Bartosz Czarnecki z Nadleśnictwa Przymuszewo.
W związku z upalną pogodą panującą w ostatnich dniach wilgotność ściółki leśnej jest bardzo niska. W przypadku zauważenia ognia w lesie należy niezwłocznie zawiadomić służby leśne lub straż pożarną. Najwięcej pożarów zostaje wykrytych właśnie w taki sposób. W lasach i w odległości mniejszej niż 100 metrów od lasu nie wolno palić ognisk, używać otwartego ognia oraz wypalać śmieci i pozostałości roślinnych.
